I think I just figured out the growing distance,
Your power to forget.
Is it really that?
Have you really forgotten, what was said, what was felt?
I can remember the pain,
I can remember the anger,
I can remember the regret.
But I can also remember,
The laughter,
The love,
The joy,
The friendship,
Those I do not intend to forget.
